Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

Sad Update: So that piece I ordered came in, and I installed it properly, but the screen still does not work.  Oh well it wasn't too much money and I can return it so no real loss. Suckishly I can't seem to remember where my adobe discs are, and I don't have a scanner, soooo this lil hiatus may have just turned into a big one hahaha.  Oh well, I'll find a way around all this, and shall be back to posting jazz soon!

Bad Old News: BADA BING! BREAKTHROUGH!  I have discovered that in reality my screen is actually turning on, the backlight just isn't lighting it up, so it is extremely hard to see.  Upon further investigation, this can be easily fixed by replacing the power inverter at the bottom of the screen which powers the lights.  So I shall be back in business once I order that part and it comes in!  YAY NERDY TECH STUFF THAT I BARELY UNDERSTAND MYSELF BUT LIKE TO PRETEND TO TO BE COOL! WEE! Hahaha

OLD NEWS: AHA! I have found the problem!  The wire that connects my video card to my laptops screen is either faulty, or came loose.  So I shall investigate that further tomorrow because I am in need of some Team Fortress 2 time!

OLD JAZZ: So my laptop, the device I use to make my comics and animations, decided to finally crap out.  Well it's a problem I may be able to fix, but all I am saying is don't expect updates for a while.  Not like weeks, just a few days.  I SHALL BE TRYING TO FIX MY LAPTOP!  Heck if I'm lucky, I may be able to fix it today.

Luckily I noticed my screen flickering the other day and backed up all my jazz.
